Dr. Mohamed Arafa
Dr. Arafa received his B.S. from Cairo University in 1997 with a 4.0 GPA.
After finishing one year at the Cancer Institute of Cairo University as a General Practice Resident
he moved to New Jersey and joined a large multi-office dental care center. During his time at the firm, he did over 100 hours of continuing education while managing the office and helping patients.
In 2008, he joined the prestigious Columbia University Dental Program where he did his residency in and obtained his DDS, In Advanced Education Of General Dentistry, followed by a fellowship in 2010 at New York Presbyterian hospital in the big apple Manhattan, NY.
he was the chief resident during his freshman and senior year.
Dr. Arafa is licensed in New York and Virginia and he is a member of the American Dental Association and a member of the American Academy of General Dentistry.
While in New York Dr.Arafa had over 500 hours of Education in Implant Dentistry and minor surgery Joined the American Academy of Implant Dentistry to sharpen his skills of placing implants using multiple systems and techniques to help patients needs
He majored in placing implants, minor surgery and full mouth rehabilitation.
